WTF?

First of all, please consider subscribing to this blog!

Where does the name of this blog come from?

It somehow reflects how a usual day of my life goes like. I get up, have breakfast, and do, mostly maths. But when I'm over (or tired) I do quite a few other things, which are the ones you can find in this blog (among a little maths, too).

What about the blue & red image everywhere?

This is a Siegel disk (Wikipedia article link) in an entire transcendental family, with nice coloring. I made a paper a while ago studying this family, got this image while tweaking some code. If you like it, you can buy some gadgets with it from here.

What about guest posts here?

If you want to write a guest post for MostlyMaths.net just let me know with an e-mail to ruben at (remove all spaces in the following) r u b e n <at> mostly maths . net

Keep in mind that the post you send should fit the themes here, should not abuse self promotion and needs to be original content. I also ask you that after you have published it here, refrain from publishing anywhere else for at least a month.

If I don't think the post fits here, I will either reject it (and maybe point you to some blog where it can fit better) or try to work out with you some changes to adapt it.

Along with your post you can send the necessary image files (or links to suitable, royalty free images), a small bio and a picture of you if you like.

The copyright of the post is yours, but as this blog is under a Creative Commons license, your guest post is also covered by this license.

Everything I explain here is as is, it worked for me. If you try, you do it at your own risk.
